BIGVITA : Empowering University Students’ Wellness and Success

As the academic year begins, top universities like McGill warmly greet new students with Orientation Week, which BIGVITA is proud announce it is a participating sponsor of. As an American wellness supplement brand, our mission is to champion a century of health through Big Care: BIGVITA. During the events, we engaged students on various wellness topics, from psychological stress to common health concerns.

Many students, both male and female, reported experiencing hair loss in our interviews during stressful academic times like exams. Some observed hair thinning in peers from rigorous programs. Hair health is crucial for university students as it impacts their self-esteem and confidence while being an important indicator of health and stress.

Not only were students open to speak up about how their own academic concerns impact their everyday life, but they are actively raising their awareness of self-care, health, and wellness.

With the start of the school year at McGill bringing students into close proximity, the back-to-school season often sees a rise in colds and flu which challenges students’ immune systems. Anticipating illness during events like Orientation Week, students seek preventive measures to maintain their health.

Moreover, many incoming students experience Montreal’s social drinking due to Quebec’s 18-year drinking age. While students recognize the liver’s importance and try to maintain it through hydration and DIY hangover remedies, they often seek better protection methods. We suggest products with natural antioxidants like Milk Thistle for detoxification and liver support.

Students encounter diverse experiences and challenges when starting university. From Orientation Week to wellness concerns like hair loss, the importance of self-care and health becomes evident. Navigating academics and social settings, students recognize the crucial role of awareness and proactive health measures. This integrated focus on mental and physical well-being lays the groundwork for a fulfilling university experience.
