Results from BIGVITA’s Hair + Lab Study

A recent study conducted by ICAS Testing Technology Service Co., Ltd. on BIGVITA’s Hair + reveals promising results regarding its efficacy in reducing hair loss, increasing hair density, and improving overall hair health. The study, which spanned from November 10, 2023, to January 5, 2024, involved 30 subjects aged between 37 and 60 years, including three males and 27 females.

Methodology

The methodology employed in the study of BIGVITA Hair + involved a comprehensive human efficacy evaluation test conducted over 56 days. The subjects underwent a series of standardized procedures in a controlled environment with consistent temperature and humidity.

A key component of the methodology was the “brush test,” where trained personnel performed a 60-strokes combing method to count the number of hairs lost. This test was conducted at three intervals: before the use of the product (D0), after 28 days (D28), and after 56 days (D56). Additionally, the study included shaving a small area on the vertex of the subject’s head. This helped to precisely measure hair count, density, and white hair count using high-resolution digital cameras and specialized imaging techniques. Expert assessments and self-assessment questionnaires complemented these measurements, providing a holistic evaluation of the product’s efficacy in reducing hair loss and improving hair health.

Key Findings

1. Reduction in Hair Loss

After 28 days of use, the hair loss reduction rate was 11.42%, which increased to 23.00% after 56 days. Statistical analysis indicated significant differences in hair loss count before and after product use, confirming its effectiveness in reducing hair shedding.

2. Increase in Hair Density

Local hair density increased by 3.72% after 28 days and 5.02% after 56 days of using the product. The local hair count showed a similar upward trend, with increases of 3.72% at 28 days and 5.02% at 56 days, demonstrating the product’s capability to enhance hair volume.

3. Reduction in White Hair

The local white hair count decreased by 10.34% after 28 days and 14.25% after 56 days. Expert assessments mirrored these findings, with the proportion of white hair reducing significantly over the study period.

4. Improvement in Hairline and Parting

Hairline width reduced by 1.04% after 28 days and 2.25% after 56 days. The hair parting width showed a significant reduction of 4.88% after 28 days. After 56 days, improvement increased to 12.20%, indicating the product’s effectiveness in improving hairline and parting.

5. Positive Subject Feedback

Subjects reported noticeable improvements in hair strength, thickness, and overall appearance, with 96.67% acknowledging reduced hair loss and improved hair health.

All participants rated the product as mild and non-irritating, resulting in its safety profile.

BIGVITA Hair + demonstrated significant efficacy in reducing hair loss, increasing hair density, and improving hairline and parting in the 30 subjects over a 56-day period. The product also showed a favorable safety profile, with no adverse reactions reported. These results suggest that BIGVITA Hair + could be a beneficial supplement for individuals seeking to enhance their hair health.
